Who we are!!!
All members of the Marine Corps League have served under the flag of The United States Of America and we are very proud of it.
There are veterans of W.W.II, Korea, the Cold War, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom and we're proud of it. There are those who were wounded in action and those who have seen things that are best forgotten.
Our members have fought in ice and snow, in desert sands, in jungles, and in the cities and waste lands of the earth as well as on the sea and in the air.
Now, later in life, we still feel the same loyalties, the same responses but must settle for different means of finding our role.
Accordingly:
We meet monthly for fellowship and the pleasure of being with our own kind,
When called on, we support the families of Marines who have been deployed to action,
When needed, we assist Marines in distress,
When requested, we provide Military Funerals for any deceased Marines,
We respond to requests for participation in parades and civic functions,
We are blood donors and we give as often as allowed,
We take part in greeting troops returning and going overseas at Pease Airport.
We perform without regard to rank held while on active duty but proud to claim the only title of real significance, that of
MARINE.
